Entry Requirements

           

 

Qualifying for taking up a Bachelor study course may usually be achieved by gaining an adequate school degree or education to be deemed a similar one according to the University Act of North Rhine Westphalia (§ 46 [1] HG NRW). Admission to a university study course may also be granted when providing the proof of having gained the „Allgemeine Hochschulreife“ (similar to A-levels) or „Fachhochschulreife“. Admission may, furthermore,  be granted when having achieved vocational qualifications according to § 49 [2], [3], and [6] under the University Act of North Rhine Westphalia.

 

The following additional entry requirements shall be accomplished with the Hochschule der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe according to the University Act of North Rhine Westphalia (§ 46 [5] HG NRW):

  • you should have a relevant employment contract with a financial services or related company

or

  • an apprenticeship contract with such.

Besides such formal admission requirements, the following personal skills would pave the way for successful studies:

 

  • interest in higher education focusing on applied sciences
  • high performing and motivation above average
  • analytic intellectual competences
  • entrepreneurial attitude along with self-initiative
  • communicative
  • media competences
