In view of the ever-increasing qualification requirements of the banking industry for specialists and managers in the financial sector, the trend towards demand-oriented further training will continue. In response to this trend, the Savings Banks Finance Group founded its own state-recognised university of applied sciences in the summer of 2003. Based in Bonn, Germany, the HFM Unviversity of Applied Sciences for Finance & Management offers employees interested in studying, particularly those from financial institutions, the opportunity to acquire an internationally recognised academic degree alongside their professional training or employment.
